Bar Councils in Pakistan
There are total six Bar Councils in Pakistan came into being as a result of enactment of Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act 1973. These Bar Councils regulates legal professionals across provincial, Territorial and National level. All Bar associations in the country are affiliated and work under the control of one of these Bar Councils, and Pakistan Bar Council is highly elected council of lawyers in Pakistan. while Punjab Bar Council is biggest Bar council of country due to strength of its licensees. Names are as follows.
