The Pangani barb (Barbus oxyrhynchus) is a ray-finned fish species in the family Cyprinidae. It might include the rhinofish, which is known as B. mariae.
It is found in Kenya and Tanzania. Its natural habitat is rivers. It is not considered a threatened species by the IUCN.
