Rowneybury House /ˈraʊnibəri/, also known as Beckingham Palace /ˈbɛkɪŋəm/, is a Grade II listed building in England that was previously owned by footballer David Beckham and singer and businesswoman Victoria Beckham. The name "Beckingham Palace", commonly used by the media in reference to the home,^[1] is a portmanteau of Beckham and Buckingham Palace.

The Beckhams bought the 1930s Georgian style house for £2.5 million in October 1999, soon after their wedding. The house is located within 17 acres (6.9 ha) of land, in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. Previously, it was a council-owned children's home. The Beckhams employ ex-SAS guards for security. The house itself is equipped with a recording studio, gym and a snooker room, along with seven bedrooms. In April 2010, the Beckhams decided to sell the property.^[2]
