Bhagwangarh, alias Bhukhianwaliis a village of Talwandi Sabo tehsil of Bathinda district of Indian Panjab.[1] A noted Panjabi songwriter, Gurmel Singh Dhillon, belongs to this village. He wrote mostly duets most of which were sung by the duo Muhammad Sadiq and Ranjit Kaur including Do Aar Dian Do Paar Dian and Sun Ke Lalkaara Tera. Now, his family lives here.

Geography
Bhagwangarh urf Bhukhianwali is approximately centered at 30°04′00″N 74°55′23″E / 30.066672°N 74.923075°E. Located 205 meters (673 ft) above sea level, it's 23 kilometers (14 mi) from the district headquarter, Bathinda, and surrounding villages are Shergarh, Dunnewala and Mall Wala.
Demographics
Punjabi is the mother tongue and Sikhism is the dominant religion of the village with other minorities. As of 2011 census, the total population of the village is 2659 with 546 households, 1413 males and 1246 females.[1] The sex ratio is 882 females per 1000 males, with children sex ratio of 847. The literacy rate of the village is 61.85% with male literacy 69.50% and female, 53.20%. Jatt is dominant caste of the village with Schedule Caste (SC) constitutes the 34.45% of the population and no Schedule Tribe (ST) population.[1]

Personalities
Gurmel Singh Dhillon, a noted Punjabi songwriter, belonged to the village. He used the then name of the village, Bhukhianwali in his songs. Most of his songs were sung by the duo Muhammad Sadiq & Ranjit Kaur. His noted songs by the duo includes Do Aar Dian Do Paar Dian, Sun Ke Lalkaara Tera, Akhri Tarik Mere Yaar Di and Miloon Pehr De Tarhke. He was a bank employee. He is no more but his family, wife and daughter, lives in here.
