Bhanu Chopra
Bhanu Chopra is an India-based entrepreneur and the CEO of RateGain, an IT solutions company in India, a company he founded in 2004.[1]
Business
Chopra started his career at Deloitte Consulting serving several Fortune 500 companies in Chicago.[2] He is the CEO of RateGain, a company he founded in 2004.[2] Prior to setting up RateGain, Bhanu co-founded Riv Consulting.[2] Chopra started RateGain in response to the increasing popularity of Online travel agencies(OTAs) like Expedia and Orbitz in the West, when he identified the business need of these OTAs to compare rates across their competitor websites.[1]
Chopra started RateGain with US$100,000 and his venture was valued at $40 million by 2009.[3] He started RateGain as a self-funded venture.[4] RateGain recently got featured on Mind Your Business, a digital magazine powered by Inc. India.
