Bjerka is a village in the municipality of Hemnes in Nordland county, Norway.
Background
It is located along the European route E06 and the Nordlandsbanen railway line, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southeast of Hemnesberget and about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) north of the municipal center of Korgen.[3] The 0.82-square-kilometre (200-acre) village has a population (2013) of 476. The population density is 580 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,500/sq mi).[1]
