The black-capped speirops (Zosterops lugubris) is a species of bird in the Zosteropidae family. Some taxonomists include it in the genus Zosterops, while others place it in the genus Speirops. It is endemic to São Tomé and Príncipe, they are founded in an area of .860 km²
