Michael Tucker, known professionally as BloodPop (formerly Blood Diamonds),[3] is an American musician, record producer and songwriter.

Early life

Michael Tucker was born in Kansas City, Kansas, United States.[4][5] Tucker studied jazz guitar in middle school, went to Kansas City Art Institute, and deejayed art school parties (2007). Cody Critcheloe mentored him in Tucker's parents' basement for a month straight, learning how to produce and how to write music,[6] using the free one week trial version of Ableton, studied video editing in Vancouver for three years,[7] made Soundcloud instrumentals under Blood Diamonds, and signed with Transparent Records[8][9] and OWSLA, and relocated to Los Angeles.
