BnkToTheFuture, formerly BankToTheFuture, is a global online investment platform (Equity CrowdFunding) mainly focused on financial innovation and technology.
It was founded by Simon Dixon and Bliss Dixon. He was motivated by the exit of major UK banks from small business lending. In 2012 the business was shortlisted in Richard Branson's "Screw Business as Usual" competition.[1] The name “BankToTheFuture” is a reference to the line ““Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.” from the movie Back to the Future.[2][3]
