Boechout (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbuxʌu̯t]) is a municipality of Belgium located in the Flemish province of Antwerp.
The municipality comprises the towns of Boechout proper and Vremde. On January 1, 2006 Boechout had a total population of 12,090. The total area is 20.66 km² which gives a population density of 585 inhabitants per km².[3]
Boechout also hosts the Sfinks Festival.
