Bougainville monkey-faced bat
The Bougainville monkey-faced bat (Pteralopex anceps) is a megabat endemic to Bougainville Island and Choiseul Island in Melanesia. It inhabits mature forests in upland areas. The species is classified as Endangered by the IUCN.[1]
