Brad Hill (born 19 November 1986) is an Australian professional basketball player who last played for Melbourne United of the National Basketball League (NBL). His father, Richard, was a member of the Save our Sixers consortium that formerly owned the Adelaide 36ers.
Professional career
In 2004 and 2005, Hill attended the Australian Institute of Sport.[1] During the 2004–05 NBL season, Hill made his debut for his hometown Adelaide 36ers.
After three seasons with Adelaide, Hill signed with the South Dragons for the 2007–08 season, but played only four games due to injury, returning to the 36ers for the 2008–09 season and in doing so missed out on the Dragons' 2009 NBL championship.
In May 2011, Hill signed a two-year deal with the Cairns Taipans.
On 9 May 2013, Hill signed with the Sydney Kings for the 2013–14 NBL season.[2] On 27 October 2013, he played his 200th NBL game in a loss to the Perth Wildcats.[3]
On 9 July 2014, Hill signed with the Wollongong Hawks.[4]
In 2015, for the fourth off-season in a row, Hill played for the Mount Gambier Pioneers of the South East Australian Basketball League (SEABL). He helped the Pioneers win the SEABL championship for the second year in a row.[5]
On 24 September 2015, Hill signed with Melbourne United as an injury replacement for David Barlow.[6]
