British Gridiron Football League
The British Gridiron Football League was an American football league based in the United Kingdom, containing 10 teams split into two divisions. Established in 1987, the league lasted just two season before merging with the Capital League in 1989 to become the British National Gridiron League (BNGL).
The British Gridiron Football League's only champions were the Mersey Centurions, who defeated Leicester Huntsmen 20-16 in the Final.
