Burunköy is a village in Mut district of Mersin Province, Turkey. It is a mountain village at 36°44′N 33°23′E / 36.733°N 33.383°E on the state highway which connects Mut and Silifke to Central Anatolia . The distance to Mut is 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) and to Mersin is 175 kilometres (109 mi). Population of Burunköy was 290 as of 2012.[1]
