Caladenia picta is a small orchid found in eastern Australia. It is found in eucalyptus woodland or forest.[1] It flowers in autumn, unlike many of the orchids in the genus Caladenia.
This orchid was first described as a subspecies of Caladenia alba in 1931 by W.H. Nicholls,[2] before being reclassified as a species in its own right in 1989.[3]
Caladenia picta is a terrestrial orchid, with a single white flower appearing 15 cm (5.9 in) above the ground.[1]
