On 31 August 2011, he joined Heart of Midlothian (Hearts) on a two-year contract with the option for a further year,[8] initially joining up with the club's Under-19 Squad.[9] Prior to signing he had appeared as a trialist[10] for the club during the Keyline Challenge Cup Tournament in Oban, earlier in the year.[11]
