Calosoma macrum is a species of ground beetle in the subfamily of Carabinae. It was described by LeConte in 1853. The species is 24–30 millimetres (0.94–1.18 in), is black coloured, and lives on elevation of 1,000 to 1,600 metres (3,300 to 5,200 ft).[1]
