Cameron McLay has been the Pittsburgh Police Chief since September 15, 2014.[1] McLay announced his resignation as Pittsburgh Police chief during a press conference on November 4, 2016. His last day as chief will be November 8, 2016. [2]
He was formerly a consultant for the International Association of Chiefs of Police[3] and was a former Police Captain in Madison, Wisconsin.[4] McLay started his law enforcement career as an officer for Indiana University.[5]
