Carl W. Kroening (born April 19, 1928) is an American former politician in the state of Minnesota. An alumnus of the University of Minnesota, Kroening was an educator and is a former high school principal. He was in the House from District 54A from 1975 to 1980,[1] a Minnesota state senator from District 54 from 1981 to 1982, District 57 from 1983 to 1992, and District 58 from 1993 to 1996. He also served five years in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1975 to 1980.[1] He has six daughters, and was married to Ruth.
