Carmen James Cavezza (born November 15, 1937) is a retired lieutenant general in the United States Army.[1] He is a former commander of the I Corps at Fort Lewis, Commander at Fort Benning, Georgia, Commander at Fort Ord, Assistant Division Commander, 82nd Airborne Division and Commander, U. S. Army Infantry Center and School at Fort Benning, Georgia. He attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, University of Miami, and George Washington University. He retired in 1994.[2]
