Diamanté Anthony Blackmon (born January 3, 1991),[1] better known by his stage names Carnage and DJ Carnage, is a Guatemalan-American DJ and record producer.[2][3] Carnage is known for his live performances at major music festivals such as Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival and his hit single called "Incredible" with Israeli DJ Borgore.
Early life
Diamanté Anthony Blackmon was born on January 3, 1991 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He grew up in Los Angeles, California, United States. When he was 16 years old, he started playing in small clubs in his hometown of Guatemala.[1]
Career
Carnage has been able to establish over the years on the stage of the EDM. Collaborations with DJs such as Borgore, KSHMR, Timmy Trumpet and Headhunterz are put to his credit.[4]
"The Underground", directed in 2014 with Alvaro, is his greatest success. The single is classed quickly 4th of the top 100 established by Beatport.[5]
In 2014, he met KSHMR in New York City and decided to make the single "Toca", released in June 2015 on the record label Ultra Music.[6]
In October 2015, he released his debut album Papi Gordo, which ranked at number 184 on the Billboard 200.[7] It has 15 songs that simple emerge such as "Touch", "Bricks", "November Skies", etc.
Ibiza, Los Angeles and Tel Aviv hosted many times his sets[8] but also Inox Park in France.[9]
