Celeste Independent School District

Celeste Independent School District is a public school district based in Celeste, Texas (USA).

Celeste Independent School District is located in north east Hunt County in north east Texas. The current enrollment totals around 550 students in K-12. The three schools in CISD hold the following TEA designations: CHS - RECOGNIZED CJHS - ACADEMICALLY ACCEPTABLE CES - RECOGNIZED

The students at CISD have above average TAKS scores and commendably high passing rates.


In 2009, the school district was rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]
