Channel Six Dundee was a Restricted Service Licence television station based in the Scottish city of Dundee. It was owned by Channel Six Broadcasting Ltd,[1] which was founded in May 2001 by its Chairman, Dave Rushton.[2] It was in operation between 2001 and 2002.
Programming
Channel Six Dundee presented local bands and classic cartoons. Some local live events were also recorded for transmission on the station, including the Roseangle Christmas Lights big switch-on in 2001.
Shutdown
The station closed in 2002 after its parent company was placed into liquidation after running out of funding & failing to secure the investment needed to sustain & expand the service.[2]
