Chhibatali Union

Chhibatali Union (Bengali: ছিপাতলী) is a union of Hathazari Upazila of Chittagong District.^[1]

Geography

Area of Chhibatali: 1,092 acres (4.42 km².).

Location

North: Guman Mardan Union

East: Raozan Upazila

South: MekhalUnion

West: Hathazari Union

Population

At the 1991 Bangladesh census, Chhibatali union had a population of 6,959 and house units 1095.

Villages and mouzas

There are two villages in this union. They are Chhibatali and Kazirkhil.There is only one mouza.

Education

There is a renowned madrasha named Chhipatali Alia Moinya Sunnia Kamil (MA) Madrasha, preferred as Chhipatali Madrasha. There are 5 government primary schools and few Islamic institutions.
