The Chicago Freeze was a Tier II Junior A ice hockey team in the North American Hockey League's West Division. The team was originally the Detroit Freeze until it relocated to a Chicago suburb of Geneva. The Chicago Freeze skated out of the Fox Valley Ice Arena which later became home to the Chicago Hitmen of the NAHL.[1]

- Craig Anderson (Goalie) - 1998–99 season, currently on Ottawa Senators of the NHL.
- Jason Bacashihua (Goalie) - 1999–01 seasons, currently on HC 05 Banská Bystrica of the Slovak Extraliga.
- George Parros (Right wing) - 1998–99 season, played five NHL seasons with Los Angeles, Colorado, and won the Stanley Cup with Anaheim.
- Chris Conner (Right Wing) - 2000–02 seasons, currently on the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL
- John Scott (Defense) - 2001–02 season, MVP of the 2016 NHL All-Star Game.
