Chico Jerikho is an Indonesian actor and producer of Thai-Batak descent from his parents Chana Jarumillinal (Thai) and Debby Panggabean (Bataknese). Jerikho has become widely known by the public when starred his first soap opera television, titled Cinta Bunga in 2007, who played as Reno.

Career

Jerikho began his debut career for joining the cover boy magazine Aneka Yess! in 2000. After that, Jerikho had offered to starring his newest soap opera, titled Cinta Bunga with his co-star Laudya Cynthia Bella, who had also dated by him and broke-up in late 2015. This soap opera making him became popularity in the public.

In addition, Jericho also starring his three films: Lawang Sewu (2007), In the Name of Love (2008) and Merem Melek (2008), which the three of only played as supporting role. Jerikho has playing in many soap opera television, such as Cinta Sejati (2008), Bayu Cinta Luna (2009) and Taxi (2010 to 2011).

After two years vacuum in entertainment, Jerikho has return to starring in a drama-themed film Cahaya Dari Timur: Beta Maluku. In the film, Jerikho played the role as Sani Taniwella, a former footballer who struggling to support his family in the midst of conflict situation, and making him winning dozen awards during his acting career, including 2 trophy Indonesian Movie Awards^[1] and awarded as Citra Award for Best Leading Actor at the 2014 Indonesian Film Festival.

Personal life

Jerikho is a celebrity who often promoscious couples, including Laudya Cynthia Bella (ended relationship in late 2015).^[2] Currently, Jerikho has dating to newcomer actress Chelsea Islan.^[3]
