China Taiping Insurance Holdings Company (CTIH) formerly China Insurance International Holdings Company Limited, is a Chinese insurance conglomerate incorporated and headquartered in Hong Kong.
The company's major businesses are reinsurance, life insurance, property and casualty insurance, asset management, reinsurance brokerage and pension management. Its parent company is China Taiping Insurance Group Co. CTIH is a state owned Chinese company publicly listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
History
It was renamed from CIIH to the current name in 2009.[1]
