Chvalatice is a village and municipality (obec) in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 11.81 square kilometres (4.56 sq mi), and has a population of 115 (as at 28 August 2006).
Chvalatice lies approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) north-west of Znojmo, 69 km (43 mi) south-west of Brno, 159 km (99 mi) south-east of Prague and 92 km (57 mi) north-west of Vienna.
