Creston School District

Creston School District is the K-12 school district in the town of Creston, Washington. Due to the small size of the town (pop. 255), the elementary, junior high, and high school are all conveniently located in the same building, therefore, there is basically only one school in the district. The elementary school has combined classrooms: 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, and 5th/6th. The school is currently classified as a "B" school and will participate in the new 2B sports classification starting with the 2006-2007 school year.

The majority of the students reside outside of Creston. The district buses kids from Deer Meadows, Hawk Creek, Lincoln, Seven Bays, and Sterling Valley. A small number of students are from towns outside the district, such as Davenport, Harrington and Creston's sports co-op partner, Wilbur.

Curriculum

While Creston is not a private school, its small size allows its teachers to focus on each student individually, providing an excellent and disciplined education that is hard to find in larger public schools, and even smaller ones in the area.
