Christian Kouakou Yao (born 1 March 1991 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire) is an Ivorian footballer currently playing for French club Nîmes Olympique on loan from Caen.
Career
He began his career with Toumodi F.C. and became in summer 2007 a contract with Anderlecht's academy. After three years with the youth teams of R.S.C. Anderlecht signed in January 2010 for Thai club Muangthong United[2]
During the mid season transfer period of the 2010/2011 season, the player was linked with the Belgian Premier Division club KV Mechelen.
On 31 August 2016, Kouakou joined Nîmes Olympique on a season-long loan deal.[3]
