Crocanthes thermocharis is a moth in the Lecithoceridae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1931. It is found in New Guinea.[1]
The wingspan is about 15 mm. The forewings are orange with blackish markings. There is a basal patch extending on the costa to two-fifths and on the dorsum to the middle, including a suffused orange dorsal spot and three or four small suffused spots in the upper part. There is a transverse-oval discal spot connected by a costal bar with a broad terminal band, broadest above and extending over one-third of the costa. The hindwings are orange with blackish markings. There is a small basal patch and a transverse discal spot on each end of the cell. An irregular macular streak is found from the disc beyond the middle to the termen below the middle, where it meets a rather narrow attenuated terminal fascia from the apex.[2]
