Crocanthes xanthistia is a moth in the Lecithoceridae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1931. It is found in New Guinea.[1]
The wingspan is about 16 mm. The forewings are dark fuscous, with the costal edge, a triangular fasciate blotch from the costa before the middle not quite reaching the dorsum, and a terminal fascia occupying the apical fourth of the costa with the anterior edge concave and narrowed to a point at the tornus all orange-yellow. The hindwings are dark fuscous.[2]
