Crystal cake
Crystal Cake (Chinese: 水晶饼; pinyin: Shuǐjīng bǐng) is one of the traditional desserts in Weinan city of eastern Shaanxi, China. It has more than 800 years of history. Crystal cake was first invented in Xiagui during the Song Dynasty, then it spread far and wide.[1] People named it as Crystal Cake, because its filling shines brightly, and its appearance is glittering and translucent, like a crystal.
