Cut Mini (Dec 30, 1973 - ) is an Indonesian film and television soap opera actress, presenter and model of Acehnese descent.^[1]

Early life and career

Cut Mini Theo was born on December 30, 1973, on Jakarta to parents T. Usman Abdullah and Cut Dermawan, an Acehnese people. Mini is a youngest child of 7 siblings. Mini began her debut career to joining a teen magazine event as photo model at 15. After that, Mini has offered to played her debut soap opera television in Indosiar from a 1987 sequel film, titled Catatan Si Boy the Series. Mini has signed a contract by a production house which collaborated with Malaysian' TV station TV3 for playing to several soap opera during 9 years.

In 1995, Mini had appeared in the singer Andre Hehanusa' music video for "Kuta Bali".

After return to her hometown country, Mini was offered by a television station for make a comedy show titled Sang Prabu, which played a role as Malays people. In addition, Mini also presenting in several program televisions, including Telkomania and Berita Selebritis; and also starring in several soap opera television, such as Dunia Tanpa Koma, Kutunggu Kau di Pasar Minggu and Kejarlah Daku Kau Kutangkap.

In addition, Mini has playing her debut film in 2003, titled Arisan!, which made her more popularity in local industry films. For her acting, Mini had listed for her nominees category to Citra Award for Best Leading Actress at the annual film major award Indonesian Film Festival of 2004.

Mini is an one of Indonesian film actress who had earning dozen awards in her history film, both of Indonesia and international, such as a Indonesian Movie Awards for 2009 Best Actress and Brussels International Independent Film Festival for 2009 Best Actress Award to both of film Laskar Pelangi.^[2]

In 2016, Mini has earned her first major award for Citra Award for Best Leading Actress category at the 36th Indonesian Film Festival to her film acted Athirah.^[3]

Personal life

Mini has married to Muhamad Safril Sarwono on 2000 and still not have a baby from their marriage until present.
