CyberCoders is a division of On Assignment,[1] a global provider of skilled professionals across all industries. It places mid- to senior-level professionals in permanent positions in in-demand industries such as information technology, finance, education, engineering, healthcare, and other industries in the United States. CyberCoders' proprietary software and candidate matching algorithm provides custom tools for applicant tracking and screening. CyberCoders' job search board and recruiting services are free for job seekers across all industries.

History

CyberCoders is based in Irvine, California. It was founded in 1999 by Heidi Golledge (CEO) and partner Lance Miller.[2] Golledge gave up running a small successful financial service firm to co-found CyberCoders.[3] Matt Miller later came on board as CTO.[4] It was acquired in December 2013 by staffing giant On Assignment,[5] a NYSE-traded firm, for $105 million.[6]

In 2013, CyberCoders was nominated by Orange County Business Journal as a Top Workplace.[7] The Company's founder and CEO, Heidi Golledge, was selected as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013.[8]

Criticisms

CyberCoders received a "D" rating from the Better Business Bureaus after receiving 5 complaints between 2013 and 2016 that the company did not provide an Unsubscription or Opt-Out option to its services.[9] Ripoff Report has also raised allegations that CyberCoders is a “resume farming” operation.[10]
