The Deutscher Theaterpreis DER FAUST (German Theatre Prize THE FAUST), more commonly known informally as the FAUST Preis (FAUST Award) , recognizes achievement in live German theatre and is the national theatre award of Germany. The awards are presented and decided by the Deutscher Bühnenverein and supported by the Federal Chancellery and Representative for Cultural and Media Affairs at an annual ceremony.
The FAUST Awards are considered the highest Germany theatre honour.
