Dalkarlså Folk High School
Dalkarlså Folk High School (Swedish: Dalkarlså folkhögskola) is situated in northern Sweden near the settlement of Dalkarlså.
History
The main building of the school was constructed during a sawmill boom period. It was designed by Johan Anders Linder, who was the pastor at Umeå. It was built in 1849.[1]
This school is one of four schools operated by the Pentecostal church in Sweden. The school offers a standard high school education that readies students for work or a university education, and in addition it offers specialist courses for prospective ministers and missionaries. The other three schools are in Stockholm, Mariannelund and Viebeck.[2]
