Damir Džidić (born 15 February 1987 in Mostar) is a Croatian footballer playing for HŠK Zrinjski Mostar. He is the younger brother of Ivica Džidić.

He returned to HŠK Zrinjski Mostar in January 2009.

Biography

Damir Džidić is the younger brother of Ivica Džidić, long-time captain of HŠK Zrinjski Mostar. His football career began in Croatian NK Dinamo Zagreb. He played for all ages of Dinamo football school HitrecKacian. In 2006 he came to HŠK Zrinjski Mostar. There he played in the first team and provided good games. It has helped him to return to young Croatian football team. He was noted by Miroslav Blažević, coach of Zagreb and Damir signed with Zagreb in January 2008. However, did not prove himself in Zagreb and in October 2008 returned to the HŠK Zrinjski Mostar.[1] He won the Premier League of BiH with Zrinjski, in season 2008–09.
