Dave Hanley is the Founder of social media marketing agency Banyan Branch (now Deloitte), and a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.
Career
Dave was the second employee at book social network Shelfari, where he oversaw its marketing and sales functions. After growing Shelfari's user base from 5,000 to 2 million, Amazon acquired Shelfari in September 2009 for an undisclosed amount.[1] Shortly following the acquisition, Dave left Amazon to found social media agency Banyan Branch, which he operated with co-founder Alex Garcia. Deloitte acquired Banyan Branch in October 2013, and integrated the company into Deloitte Digital.[2]
Personal
Hanley is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lives with his wife and four children in Seattle, Washington.[3]
