David Ewins

David John Ewins FRS FREng^[1] is a British mechanical engineer, and Director of the Bristol Laboratory for Advanced Dynamics Engineering (BLADE) at University of Bristol.^[2]

Life

He studied Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London, and studied for a PhD at the University of Cambridge. He was Professor of Vibration Engineering at Imperial College London.^[3]

He is Acting Director of the AgustaWestland UTC.^[4]

He was appointed a Fellow^[5] of the Royal Academy of Engineering^[6]
