David William Mercer (20 March 1893 – 1 June 1950) was an English international footballer, who played as an outside right.
Career
Born in St Helens, Mercer played professionally for Sheffield United, and earned two caps for England between 1922 and 1923.[1] He was part of the 1925 FA Cup winning side in Sheffield United's 1-0 victory over Cardiff City at Wembley Stadium.[2]
