David Miramant (born May 22, 1955) is an American politician and glider pilot from Maine. A Democrat, Miramant served one term in the Maine House of Representatives (2006-2008) before unsuccessfully challenging Chris Rector for the District 22 State Senate seat. He served on the Selectboard for the town of Camden, Maine from 2000-2003. He was a place holder candidate for the District 44 seat in the House of Representatives in 2004 before winning the seat in 2006.[1]

Dave Miramant was a State representative for the 44th district of Maine as of 2006, and leaving the senate two years later in 2008.

In February 2014, Miramant announced that he would seek to replace the retiring Edward Mazurek for the renamed Senate District 12.[2] He was successful and served in the 123rd Legislature. In 2016 he was re-elected to a second 2 year term beating former U.S. Congressman David Emery.

Miramant was born on May 22, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio. He is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington ('80).[1]
