David de la Cruz Melgarejo[1] (born May 6, 1989 in Sabadell) is a Spanish cyclist. He is a member of the Etixx–Quick-Step team. On 28 August 2016, de la Cruz scored his biggest win of his career so far which he won stage 9 of Vuelta a Espana from a breakaway and took over the leader jersey and combination classification jersey.[2]
