Delany College is a Roman Catholic, co-educational Secondary day school, located in Granville, a western suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Originally founded as Patrician Brothers, Granville in 1942, Delany College currently caters for approximately 550 students from years 7 to 12, and is a school of the Diocese of Parramatta. Students are drawn from a number of local catholic schools including Holy Trinity Primary, Granville; Holy Family Primary, Granville East; St Patrick's Primary, Guildford and St Margaret Mary's Primary, Merrylands.[2]

Since then, it has been reformed in 1997, under the control of Mr Quentin Evans (Sanctioned by the Diocese), who currently teaches at St Aloysius' College (Sydney), Milsons Point. Evans founded another Catholic school, Terra Sancta College, in 1996.

History

Delany College was established in 1942 as Patrician Brothers' High School, a catholic, all-boys school catering for students in Years 7 to 10.

The school became a Years 7 to 12, co-educational college in 1997 founded by Quentin Evans (a teacher at St Aloysius College), in order to meet the changing needs of the local community. The school was subsequently renamed Delany College after the Patrician Brothers' founder, Bishop Daniel Delany.[2]
