Devon Windsor (born March 7, 1994 at St. Louis, Missouri) is an American model.
Early life
Devon Windsor grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where she attended Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School from a young age. She was discovered when she was 14 years old by Suzy Gorman[1] a fashion photographer who recommended her to a local agency, West Model & Talent Management,[2] which made her sign a contract with them and Vision Model Management. This new agency sent her to Los Angeles in order to attend castings and shooting for Roxy.[1] There she was noticed by IMG Models which decided to sign her to their new-yorker agency.[1] One of her first jobs after that was an editorial for the fashion magazine Oyster.[3] Following her graduation from high school, Devon moved to New York to model full-time.[4]
Career
Her first big fashion show was for Prada in September 2013. During fittings, her hair was dyed bleach blonde.[5] She liked it and decided to keep them that way, which has become her main feature. The same year, she started walking for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show[6] and advertised Love Moschino.[6]
In 2014, she walked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show again, wearing wings and advertised Jean Paul Gaultier and Max Mara.
In 2015, she advertised Balmain alongside Cindy Bruna.
Throughout her career, she walked for numerous designers including Acne, Alexander McQueen,[7] Alexandre Vauthier, Anna Sui, Antonio Berardi, Barbara Bui, Blumarine, Bottega Veneta,[7] Bouchra Jarrar, Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Celine,[6] Chanel,[6] Costume National, Cushnie et Ochs, Derek Lam, Dior,[8] Donna Karan, Dsquared2, Elie Saab,[9] Emanuel Ungaro, Emilio Pucci, Ermanno Scervino, Etro, Fendi, Giorgio Armani,[7] H&M, Helmut Lang, Herve Leger, Hussein Chalayan, Iris van Herpen, Jason Wu, Jean Paul Gaultier,[8] Jonathan Simkhai, Kenzo, L'Wren Scott, Maison Martin Margiela, Mary Katrantzou, Matthew Williamson, Max Mara, Maxime Simoens, Michael Kors, Moschino, Opening Ceremony, Oscar de la Renta, Peter Som, Philipp Plein, Porsche Design, Prabal Gurung, Prada,[8] Preen, Reed Krakoff, Roberto Cavalli, Rochas, Roland Mouret, Stella McCartney,[6] Salvatore Ferragamo, Tom Ford, Topshop, Tory Burch, Trussardi, Zac Posen, Zuhair Murad, Vera Wang, Victoria's Secret[6] and Vionnet.[9]
