Background
On July 21, 1983 Diana Ross's concert in Central Park (on the Great Lawn) attended by 800,000 fans, was cut short by a large storm. The next day, July 22, 1983 she played again, but this time with only 400,000 fans in attendance. These two concerts were part of the Up Front Tour to promote Ross's 1983 album.
