Didi Kempot (born Didi Prasetyo; December 31, 1966) is an Indonesian campursari singer, songwriter and producer. In addition as campursari singer, Kempot also singing in various genre, such as dangdut, pop and folk. Kempot is an youngest brother of Srimulat' comedy group member Mamiek Prakoso (deceased due to liver disease).
During his career began from 1994, Kempot had releasing many studio album including dangdut album and kroncong album. Kempot had earning several awards and nominations in Anugerah Musik Indonesia for various field category. In addition in Indonesia, Kempot also more popularity in Suriname and Netherlands. Minister of the Interior of Suriname naming Kempot as Most Popular Singer and often winning music awards in Suriname.[1]
