Diwancheruvu is a village and a Gram panchayat in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, India.[1] This village and its surroundings are famous for custard apple cultivation and marketing.
Geography
This area, which is near Rajahmundry is situated on National Highway 16 which connects Chennai and Kolkata.
Villages
Diwancheruvu's Gram Panchayat's jursidiction extends to three villages, namely, Sriramapuram, Raghunadhapuram, and Diwancheruvu itself.
Education
Though there are no institutes of note in the boundaries of this village, there are a quite a few colleges nearby. Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology and Aditya Engineering College are engineering colleges near the area. GSL Medical College, Adikavi Nannaya University and Chaitanya Institute of Technology are a few other colleges that are located nearby. Sri Prakash School and Oakwood International School, though located near Diwancheruvu, get most of their students from Rajahmundry.
