Doctor Chakravarthy is 1964 Telugu drama film directed by Adurthi Subba Rao starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Savitri. It is the first film to win the Nandi Award instituted by Government of Andhra Pradesh in 1964. Upon its release, it received positive reviews and became a blockbuster. It inspired many people in India to become doctors.[2]
