Kumar Vishwas (born 10 February 1970) is a Hindi-language performance poet and an Indian politician and National Executive of Aam Aadmi Party.[1] As a celebrated Hindi poet, he is the most sought-after poet throughout the Hindi speaking people across the world. As a social communicator, Dr Kumar Vishvas has engaged himself in several youth-connect programs via different platforms including his poetic events. As an Author he has engaged himself in writing articles, poems, stories etc.
Career
Vishwas has participated in poetry recitations and functions abroad including the USA, Dubai, Singapore, and Japan.[2][3][4][5]
Vishwas supported the anti-corruption movement led by Anna Hazare. He is a member of the national executive of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).[6] He contested the 2014 Lok Sabha election, as an AAP candidate from Amethi, but lost to Rahul Gandhi.[7]

Recent Endeavors
- Wrote lyrics for upcoming Bollywood movie BHAIRAVI, recorded by legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle.[13]
- Wrote lyrics for upcoming movies PALKI and BLACKMAIL, both being produced by Canadian producers.
- Came up with a new format of his show in Musical format called 'Kissa: Mann Me Hai Vishvas'.
- Invited to participate in one of the most rated Indian Television series Bigg Boss 8. Had to decide to drop it for Martyr’s widows relief fund.[14]
- Invited to participate on Indian mega reality show ‘Sach Ka Saamna’. Had to decide to drop it for personal reasons.[15]
- Debut video song of Dr Kumar Vishwas ‘Ek Nasha’, which is an anti-drugs song, became an instant hit and saw a record breaking mark of video views on different video sharing and messaging platforms.[16]
- The first Facebook Q&A session of Dr Kumar Vishwas ended up as the second most massive Q&A session of Facebook with an average of 108.66 question hits per minute.[17]
